Welcome to Windyhill Garden

Thank you to all who ordered daylilies from us this year as well as all those who visited our daylily garden during this past bloom season. It was an OK season for us this year. Good through the first days of June then hot, like 90+ which the daylilies do not like when trying to set pods. We got some pods but not nearly as many as we would have prefered.

With it now in fall and the temps cooling, we are in the garden cleaning it for next year as well as digging and dividing some of the daylily beds so to till in a fresh round of pine bark fines to give the daylilies the fresh aeriated soil they like.

We have now concluded our shipping for 2025. For the next month or so, we will be digging dividing and preparing the garden for next year. In early January we will have completed our inventory and will refresh the website with that new information. If interested in ordering for 2026, we recommend waiting until then to place your order so to see the latest opportunities and prices.

We introduced 9 new intros recently that we will post as we redo the website this winter. Please take a look at those.  If you have questions regarding daylilies we may have, please do email us.    windyhill101@yahoo.com

We anticipate the start of digging 2026 orders around late April 2026. If you have a special situation, please email us to work out a plan.

As many of you know, Wanda is the “Hummingbird lady”. Like the daylilies, they have faded, actually gone south, for the winter. We think there may have been even more here this past summer if that is possible. An amazing sight and sound on our back porch each morning and evening. Happy gardening and have a safe and warm winter.
 Thanks, Raymond & Wanda Quinn
