2023: The Garden

Hi everyone,

Several of you have expressed interest in my containers and also other plants around the garden so I’ll share a a few from the spring.

I love doing containers and planting plants to attract bees. A neighbor down the street has honey bees so it is especially nice to see them on the blooms during this time of the year.

I also plant perennials such as heuchera or miniature conifers with annuals in the containers and once the perennials get too big I’ll plant them in the garden.

Spring:

Heuchera with pansies, clematis, bearded iris with clematis and dianthus, and a climbing rose.

I have trained the rose to cover the pergola so it provides shade. I like to set in this area early in the morning and listen to the birds. It is a wonderful place to relax prior to starting the day.
